News coming in has it that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has this Thursday evening, February 7, 2019, ended its three-month-old industrial, after finally striking a deal with the Federal government.

To get to this point, it was gathered that the leadership of ASUU and the Federal government had signed a series of agreements, with ASUU warning vice-chancellors of universities that it would not tolerate  “acts of impunity, nepotism antithetical to university culture,” by the time its members resume duty.
