Shopping for wears and fashion accessories does different magic for different
kinds of people. Some ladies love to shop after a relationship break- up just
to update their wardrobe and re-boost their self esteem, others shop to be happy,
feel good about life and relate with what is happening in the fashion industry
around the globe. No matter how you look at it, shopping makes women happy and
fulfilled.
Somehow, having the urge to shop for wears is one thing and knowing where to
go for the things you desire is another thing all together. To some of us, shopping
can really be a hell of a task if we do not map out strategy and how to go about
it. Some women prefer to shop at well known boutiques, some at the various markets
scattered all over town depending on where you live.
Those of us living in Lagos know that there are so many places to shop for wears
in Lagos and at times you get confused where to go but, if you have specific
fashion outlets or particular markets you will not have much problem shopping
in a city like Lagos.
Not only individual buyers shop; boutique owners and fashion designers also
do their own shopping. Their own problem is to also know countries to go so
as to supply trendy and variety of wears and fashion accessories to their prospective
customers and buyers. Quite a lot of them here in Nigeria travel abroad to buy
the things they sell here so as to meet with global fashion trend. The average
Nigerian woman is very conscious of what she wears so, she takes her time to
shop around so as to get value for her money. The ladies also itch to know outlets
that are giving out free gifts and discounts. It is all about appeal and getting
what you desire at reasonable rates.
Recently, BW had a chat with a fashion designer and boutique owner – Stella
Chuks Amaefuna on return from one of her several shopping trips abroad. The
English graduate-turned designer and owner of Lafesta Apparels with a head Branch
at Lateef Salami , Ajao Estate, recently opened a new branch at Broadway Shopping
Complex, Broad Street, Lagos Island. In her chat with BW, she talked about commencing
a hot discount sales bonanza to make shopping pleasant and rewarding for her
customers.
She is slashing all her prices and is giving out sizzling Tank / Tops free for
every two skirt / pant suits or evening gowns purchased at any of her outlets
in Lagos. Her shops are stocked with corporate skirts / pants suits, unisex
Senegalese kaftan, alluring evening gowns, designers handbags, perfumes, jewelries
bridals and other fashion accessories. she also promises a sweet surprise for
her teeming wholesale buyers who buy to resale.
The big one goes to BW fans who walk into any of her shops with today’s
publications; be sure to get your shopping bags filled up with lots of goodies.
