Liven up, do some salsa and cha-cha-cha

Dancing as a profession and not just for pleasure is gradually gaining grounds
in Nigeria. I often see youths display their dancing skills in different occasions
and the audience watching seem to really enjoy their acts.
Now to these dancers,
dancing is a job and not just for fun but to others, dancing is simply fun, a
way to unwind and relax. If you also take a close look at the professional dancers,
you discover you do not have fat people among them; they all look trim and fit.
This is because they dance regularly. This goes a long way to prove that dancing
firms and tones the body. Have you seen how they lift each other up? You can’t
do that with a fat person, both of you will crashland. How about the spinning?
For fatties? No way! A fattie, spin? Are you kidding!! How on earth can he/she
do that!! Oh, I love watching those boys and girls do their thing; so flexible
and lively!
Dancing, whichever way you look at it is a very good form of exercise.
Initially when you start to dance, you will feel so heavy all over but keep moving
and your body gets lighter with time. You also do not need to become a professional
before you can benefit from dancing.
However, it is also good to join
a dancing group if your objective is to loose weight fast through dancing only.
Quite a challenge if you are really fat but, worth it! A dance group will be a
better organized forum to assist you work on your weight but, like I always say
– be honest and open to them about your plan, make them understand you just
want to loose weight and not to be a professional dancer so they can know how
to assist you if they can. Apart from joining a dance group, you can also slot
your own favourite song and dance with your partner or alone depending on how
much time you have. Try to create time and say to yourself, -I must lose some
pounds by dancing as long as you enjoy doing it. Try use some hot pop tunes that
can really make you move your bones and sweat.
The good thing about having
your own dance is that you need not have a particular pattern, you just move your
body anyway you desire. Dancing with your partner also encourages both of you
to spend time together and spices up a dull or stale relationship. Sure ladies,
if you have that kind of husband that hardly smile or play with you and your family,create
a forum where all of you can get together and have fun through dancing. Children
also love to dance as well, so make dancing part of your family fun and you will
see the result. Not only will you loose weight you will also end up bringing your
family together. Remember, once you have decided to lose weight through dancing,
you must also modify your diet or you keep losing and gaining it back. For those
