Louis Odion's exit shocked
me

Louis, the shock that ran through my entire system last week
when I saw your send-forth pictures in Sunday Sun could only
be compared with what happened to me when Ghanaian national
team scored their second goal that handed them victory at
the 85 minutes of their encounter with our own Super Eagles.
Like a star, you came, you saw, and you shone, leaving an
indelible mark. The attainment of Sunday Sun today bears eloquent
testimony of your hard-work and excellent dedication to duty.
As your convert and ardent fan since the day I read your piece
on "OBJ on Adedibu: A critique", published on October
28, 2007, I consider you as genius of all time Journalism,
a ‘Solutionist,’ and never failed to follow your
column afterward.
Sincerely, Nigerians and my very self in particular will miss
your unadulterated, incisive analysis on both national and
international issues that matter most.
Believe me, Dubya’s tour will not be missed in Nigeria
as much as Nigerians will miss your column in Sunday Sun.
When I consider your immense contribution towards the development
of our fatherland, my humble submission remains that you have
meaningfully touched the lives of millions of Nigerians in
your 5 years as Sunday Sun editor and a distinguished columnist
far more than the man, OBJ, as the president of the Federation
in eight years.
May the Almighty continue to guide, keep and strengthen you
in all your endeavours as you continue to render the best
of your service to humanity.
Love you!
