The much-awaited album of fuji music star, Adewale Ayuba is due out for the enjoyment of his teeming fans before the end of next month.

For some time now, Ayuba has been working on the follow-up to his current album, “Mellow” at the Eko Reel Mix Studio in Ikeja, Lagos.
Produced by the versatile and highly-respected music producer Laolu Akins, the forthcoming work is a dance-hall album that promises to captivate its audience with the musician’s rich vocal chord, dictating the pace for the funkified beats.

The new album, which contains remix of “Bubble”, “Ijo Fuji” and “Turn Me On”, will come in two folds. One packaged as vintage Ayuba and the other specially packaged for the hip-hop fans as it features some wave-making hip-hop artistes.

Ayuba, who has the credit of being the first fuji artiste to appeal to the elite with the release of his mega-hit, “Bubble” in 1991, has consequently followed up with several award-winning albums. His collaboration with German-based artiste, Bantu entitled “Fuji satisfaction”, won for the duo two awards including Best Group in West Africa and Best Group in Africa at the 2005 edition of KORA All Africa Music Awards in South Africa.

The Best African African Artiste or Group category now attracts $1million prize tag at this year’s edition of KORA holding December 6 in Tinapa, Cross River State.
