Following the success of Agbani Darego as Miss World, Silver Bird Entertainment is on the verge of making history again and it needs your support.

Nigerians have been called to vote via SMS, the country’s flag bearer to this year’s edition of Miss World Beauty Pageant, slated for Poland September 30, 2006.

Silver Bird Entertainment, the brains behind MBGN made this call last week in Lagos, calling on Nigerians to be patriotic.
So, If you are on the MTN network, SMS your vote to 62426. For Celtel, the number is 33333 for just N50.

It would be recalled that another Nigerian and ex MBGN Queen, Wunmi Akinifesi won the Miss Tourism World last year.
Meanwhile, the first phase of Silver Bird Danceathon kicked off in Lagos, yesterday at the National Stadium Surulere.
The 2000 plus crowd passed the initial screening participated in a fitness trial marathon that would prune the number of contestants to 120.
