For an estate that bears the name Victory Park, its name has certainly seen it through a raging storm. Now, the storm is over as R. Kelly would sing and the silver lining has appeared in the horizon in the place of the once dark clouds. For long it was weighted down by certain issues but it is now repackaged under new investors and promoters.

It is situated west of the Lekki – Aja axis just behind Femi Okunnu Estate and it is approximately 12 minutes drive from the heart of Victoria Island. It is being promoted and developed by the enterprising Grant Properties Limited, a veteran and renowned name on the turf of property development.

Flexing its financial muscles behind the project are Skye Bank, Wema Bank, Sterling bank and Unity Bank. The quartet will ensure that the project is not starved of the necessary funds. There is also a reasonable possibility of mortgage finance being tied to the sumptuous package. There are 90 units of apartment with six units in a block. The houses are currently undergoing finishing touches and in March the completed units will be delivered to the owners.

The facilities are water – tight. Included in the fabulous offer are most of the perks of ultra modern recreational facilities including swimming pool, lawn tennis court, central sewage system and underground cable. There is a water treatment plant for the borehole system to supply potable water, among others.

Remarkly the estate will be powered with solar energy which is fairly uncommon in a clime such as ours. With the present dismal performance of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) better known for darkness than the light it ought to bring, there is some hope of uninterrupted electricity held out for the lucky residents of Victory Park Estate. When it turns out a success, the experiment could be taken to other parts of the country still enveloped in darkness.

Two types of houses will be constructed for outright sale in the repackaged Victory Park Estate. They are Victory Exquisite and Victory Deluxe. Victory Exquisite comprises 3 – bedroom flats, plus 1 – bedroom servants’ quarters all rooms ensuite. Victory Deluxe pack with ante room comprises 3 – bedroom flats plus a study and 1 – bedroom servants’ quarters with all rooms ensuite. For those who elect to go extra mile on their purchased package, the flats will be delightfully furnished by Alibert Products Nigeria Limited. This attracts an extra price of N2.5 million. Meanwhile the price for either type is N32miilion per unit with the initial deposit put at 50 percent.
