Dressing elegantly to any social outing is the best because it might be your only chance of being noticed. Wearing a wonderful cloth looks good and creates a standard in personality. The ankara does the magic.

Fashionable ladies now know how to attract attention even with the simplest Ankara material. These trendy materials now come in a unique combination with choice materials like brocade, bridal satin or organza.

If you are like some women who cannot afford already made clothes, you need not feel all hope is lost because you can now have your own new- improved Ankara.

A fashion designer, Mrs. Nkiru Asadu of Lix-vian Fashion, Okota, Lagos, throws more light on the lure of this combination. According to her, change in fashion is partly responsible for the creation of this mind- boggling and flambouyant Ankara designs. In fact, it is a pace- setter and it has added a luscious lustre to the 2006 fashion scene.

She noted that it is not unusual to see designers creating new and trendy styles because Ankara is one of the never- say- quit stuffs that always find that their way into people’s wardrobe every year.
“ To design these cloth, vivid colours, like cream, light blue, green and yellow are the in-thing.

They can be used to combine dull colours, like black and brown to bring out the brightness in the material and the wearer. For instance, a brown and cream colour can be combined in a creative way.”
To make the Ankara look acceptable and last longer, air after use. This keeps a way mildew. Store in your wardrobe or cloth box.
