In the 1960s, mini skirts reigned supreme. Today, it’s
also the vogue. With hemlines rising higher above knee length, more emphasis is
on the leg.
The average fabric for such mini-skirt is well below a yard.
Usually, the quantity is less than half of fabric required to make a pair of women's
tight pants. Short as a mini skirt may appear, it doesn’t come cheap.
Two
important variables when buying a mini skirt are the waist size and the length.
The length of the mini skirt is easily verified by running a measuring tape down
your thigh from the lower waist and checking the mirror to see where the hemline
would be. The shape and measurements of the women's buttocks and legs are not
pertinent for the fit of this type of garment.
Slimming has been considered
an advantage in wearing mini skirts. If you doubt this, go get yourself pumped
up and see what you’d look like in a mini skirt. This could well be the
reason a mini skirt is one of the most popular pieces of clothing in the wardrobe
of women in their late 20s and 30s. |
