Re: I’m
the only ANPP LG chairman in Enugu and I receive the least allocation

Our attention has been drawn to Daily Sun
publication of 10th September, 2008, page 39 in which our
council chairman granted your organisation an interview. After
careful examinations of the caption, presentation and sylogism
herein I wish to state that the publication was made three
months after the interview was granted and the script was
never returned to the council chairman for clarification even
as the publication was made belatedly.
Aside this, the time the interview was published, the chairman
and his over one million supporters who had been in the ANPP
had decamped to PDP on 30th June 2008 at a ceremony inaugurating
Udenu local government chapter of the party-PDP executive
by the state PDP chairman, Engr. Vitta Abba.
The Ogbodu Aba road project was started because of the need
to open up the area for the ruralities to have access to the
urban market which in turn will increase the IGR of the council
and not that some women organisations pledged to ‘partner
with the chairman on the road rehabilitation exercise as alluded,
in the publication.
The number of deaths along the Obollo Eke/Obollo Afor round
about did not occasion the construction of the round about
but the construction of bumps along the said routes.
In the face of the above, the council is greatly worried about
this negative perspective which your organisation had portrayed
the chairman and his administration.
We also wish to state that the correct names of the Udenu
L.G.A chairman are Dr. Ignatius Eze and not Odo.
We are partners in business and we wish it to remain as much
as that so that democracy will come to stay in our polity.

Duties Udenu Local Govt. Area.
