Hot and sexy Nollywood actress, Uche Jumbo is up to the hilt
with acting bitchy roles. Reason; it is restricting her career and killing her
talent.
“Directors only see me as a hot blooded, sexy actress and
they only want to project that image in any movie I act. It is either I am a rich,
spoilt kid or I am acting bitchy. They are restricting my talent. I have a lot
more to offer. I am a total artiste.”
According to the star of Black
Bra: “I need to strike a balance between acting bitchy roles and responsible
roles. How about the role of a loving mother or a broken-hearted widow? I could
be a very loving mum. I love kids a great deal.”
Consequently, she
has co-written a script with frontline scriptwriter, Emem Isong, in a new movie
that should light up our screens soon, Games Men Play.
“It’s a
total make over. Now people will have the opportunity of seeing the other side
of me.”
The movie is really about the Games Men Play. Jombo acts
the role of a heart broken housewife who is almost pushed to suicide as a consequence
of her husband’s (Jim Iyke) sexcapades.
It’s an all star cast that
includes Kate Henshaw Nuttal (who has a solution to every body’s problems
but hers), Mike Ozuoronye, Ini Edo, Mona Lisa Chinda and Bob Manuel Udokwu among
others.
Also in the works is another sweet girl next door movie entitled Mandy. |
