Adewale Adedigba is a motivational speaker and a highly influential communicator with a mission to create significant changes in people. He is committed to the dream of providing information and direction for people with a view to drive them to their actual destiny and future. In an interview with Daily Sun recently, Adedigba hinted on reasons why people must attain greatness, hence the need to discover their destinies. He also urged upcoming writers to read if they really want to be prolific writers.

Background
I hail from Ilesha in Osun State, I had my secondary education in Ibadan, but my plans to study Engineering in the University changed when I received the call from God to raise standards in people’s lives, as a result, I proceeded to Police College where I graduated in Theology, since then till date I have been able to change lives through my books.

Inspiration
My immediate environment inspires me to write, I feel bad when people suffer unnecessarily, because I believe God’s wish for everyone is to live great. The scripture in Jeremiah 29vs11 says "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. In that case we must rediscover where we belong to for us to live a good life here on earth, and with all these running through my mind, I picked up the courage to write.

Books published
I have published two books and have some unpublished ones. My first book is entitled,
Be All That God Wants You To Be. It was published in 2005 while the second book entitled, Living a Successful Life was published in 2006.

Objectives
Before writing, I usually focus on the problems confronting people. After conducting research on the problems, then come a book. Problems do occur for us to have a breakthrough, so there is no problem that is too difficult to handle except death.

Styles of writing
I write from the depth of my heart, because I’m angry with failure, I always want to construct lives with my pen

Challenges

Time has been my greatest challenge because I don’t write all the time, I write whenever I’m inspired to do so.

Choice of words

My words are simple and understandable, so that an average person in the society would be able to understand my message.

Target audience

My target audience are mainly those who have no hope, people who can use my books reconstruct their lives from failure to success. My books encourage people a lot, because majority of the people in the society settles for things below standard, that is why my book are needed in every home to help them change people’s lives.

Relationship with publishers

I am the director of Totalmind Publishing company, so I publish my books myself. I don’t find it difficult to publish unlike other writers who don’t have means of publishing their books.

Writer’s block
Yes, I do have it because sometimes when I write, the ideas may not flow and when that happens I always drop my pen instead of writing off the point.

Role model

First, is pastor Sam Adeyemi, whom I admire his choice of words and intelligence as a writer. The other is Prince George who has published 22 books and has 18 unpublished books. These are the people I look forward to in the art of writing.

Advice to upcoming writers
They should always write as they are inspired. Also, they should always create time, create an outline when they write so that the body of the article will always reflect the title of the book.
