Like Nostradamus, the man who saw tomorrow, Prophet Dr. Olagunroye Faleyimu is no greenhorn in the business of prophecy.

As a teenager in his Ijogun village, Owo local government, Ondo State, he had predicted then that Chief Akin Omoboriowo would only be governor in name and never be governor for real. Though the man was declared by the electoral body of the day as the winner, not long after, Michael Ajasin, his opponent was able to wrest back the mandate through the Supreme Court.

In 1993, he predicted that Shonekan would rule after the military ruler then, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB). He also predicted that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo will go to prison but will return to rule the country for eight years. And that he will lose wife and deputy. Most of all these as foretold, have become chapters in Nigeria’s political history.

Given the rising temperature on the political scene, the populace is anxious about what tomorrow holds. But Faleyimu, like the biblical prophets of old, is saying fear not, for thus saith the Lord!
His prophecies, however, resonate the saying that God sees differently from man, as he says that despite the agitations from the South south, the president shall be from the north.

"I have the revelation that in 2007, the president shall come from the north. The current crop of presidential aspirants shall be like the sons of Jesse in the Bible. And Buhari is the David that God has chosen to be president in 2007."

He added that, Obasanjo’s rule will end in 2007 and will not be extended. He also dismissed speculations about an interim government.

"God said before now that there will be no third term for Obasanjo and you know that came to pass. And God is saying also that there will be no interim government as it is being speculated.
Obasanjo will go in 2007 and God is warning him not to think of installing a successor. He should rather leave everything to him because he is Alpha and Omega."

Commenting on the South-South agitation, he said that God told him that the zone is unripe for the number one position, rather they will have the number two position.

"The South-South is going to lose at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries and the north will lead in that election. They will have the number two office under Buhari for now because God said that the person he is preparing from that place is still small and unripe for the office."

For a man whose prophecies may be considered a mixed grill of good and doom, he warns some notable figures to forget their presidential ambitions, as God has not called them. Some governors thinking of a second term were also asked to drop the idea.
"God says Babangida and Atiku should not be desperate to be president, if they want long life because the presidency won’t come to either of them.

And God specifically mentioned six current governors who will not have the privilege of a second term – Governors Gbenga Daniel, Ayo Fayose, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Olusegun Agagu, Peter Obi and Alao Akala won’t be coming back."

He assured that the elections will definitely hold despite some bloodshed that will occur. But that, he says, will not make Nigeria to disintegrate. God has promised to confuse and divide persons who might have such plans of causing divisions in the country.

Speaking on the current murder of a governorship aspirant in Lagos State, Engineer Funso Williams, he says the man had been warned previously like IBB and Atiku not to pursue political ambitions. And that Alliance for Democracy (AD) will still win in Lagos, PDP and All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP) will lose. However, he says that God is asking Nigerians to seek him instead of wealth.

"God is telling Nigerians to seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness instead of running after money. Many natural resources are yet to be discovered in Nigeria. And Nigeria will become so big and prosperous enough to be a lending nation.

From 2007, many Nigerians who have appropriated the country’s wealth into their personal coffers will start going to prison. God is going to start the cleansing of the country with men of God and other big men in the society. And farmers will emerge as the wealthiest Nigerians. In fact, many will go into farming when their salaries can no longer sustain them."

He says God has asked Nigerians not to fret because He has answered their prayers. He, however, urges Nigerians to fast and pray for three days, starting from October 1.
Like a conjurer who keeps pulling things out of a hat, keeping his audience gasping, the founder of the Mountain of Blessing and Fountain of Life Ministry, Ijoko, Ogun State, was not done yet as he gave what could be called the final salvo: "The anointed one is yet to come.
"His chosen one will be a man of God from Ondo State. God is going to empower him like Elijah. He is around but not yet in politics."
