In 1948, Stella Omolasho Oyeola was born to Wahaabi Ayinde Alawiye, a Muslim. The young girl went through the Arabic centre and graduated at Ibara in Abeokuta. Then she met her husband who was a Christian and got converted. Ever since, Oyeola has been passionate about the things of God.
“At the beginning, I was a trader and I was dealing in foodstuff and I used to travel around to buy things.

But when the call came, I left all this for full time ministry,” she declares. Today, the mother of five is a pastor with the Fear of God Ministries, Akute in Ogun State. In this interview she tells her story.

The call
For me, the call came in 1999. Immediately after the call, I went to God’s Warning Bell Bible College and Seminary and graduated in year 2000. Just before this, I was in the Voice of Hope Evangelical Church. At that time, the branch church in Akute was in our care.
At that time, I did not take the call seriously but suddenly things began to change. Life at work almost came to a standstill and at this point a voice came saying: “ I asked you to do my work but you have refused to do this.

So, on the first Sunday in March 2001, the church started.
We got the name of the church, Fear of God Ministries from Proverbs 19 v23. He promised us so many things in a revelation; one of this was that he would bring worshippers that would water the Kingdom of God. The only condition was that we must follow his command in whatever we do. Since then the lord has been directing our steps in the ministry.

End of year
We have the 14 days fasting and praying programme, which starts on the 25th of December every year. It commences with the last seven days in the year and ends with the first seven days in the New Year. While other people are eating and celebrating on Christmas day, I fast and pray to the lord. This is the period when problems are dismantled. It is usually accompanied by night vigils.

Touching lives
I pray with a lot of barren people and today their stories are different. A woman came to me for fruit of the womb after four years of marriage without any child. By the third month, she took in but lost the baby. I realized that she had gone elsewhere and was not faithful to the lord.
She came back and took in again but when she went for the scan they said it was fibroid. They asked her to go and flush it away but I asked her to have faith in the lord. She delivered a baby girl and she is expecting a second child now. There was another woman who was pregnant for 10 months.

We prayed for her and she delivered the baby safely. Although there was a threat that anyone who saves her would die but God took all the glory. Other interesting testimonies are from those who have lost their jobs. There are three cases like this who are now in London. Happily, all the revelations from God help me to touch the lives of the abandoned and frustrated ones in the society.

Revelations
In the tenth month of the year, just before our convention, God showed me that the kids that would be born in January 2008 would be tough children. A lot of people who died suddenly and in ghastly accidents would come back through these children. Therefore, anyone who gives birth in the first month must pray fervently because the children are coming for revenge.

God also showed me that there would be lots of revenge in the New Year. Thirdly, those who have the favour of God must pray that the evil ones would not take over their lives. The fourth thing I saw was that illness would be many amongst the rich and mighty. Only those who serve the lord among them would be saved.

Greed, unfortunately, would send a number of them to destruction. A lot of them should try to be satisfied with what they have. But we have the good part of the year. In this case the poor would become rich and have peace of mind. We would also have peace in Lagos state because the leadership in the state would take care of the masses. We must pray that his enemies would not frustrate his efforts. We also need to pray that he does not backslide.
