Pastor Cytnthia Okoli is a woman of boundless energy, grace and style. Getting to speak with this woman of God is not easy as she is constantly on the move, ministering to the needs of people whether physically, spiritually, materially and otherwise. She’s a woman of many parts; author, pastor, mother, evangelist, leader. In fact, she means different things to different people.

Okoli can be seen in hospitals ministering not only to the spirituals needs of patients but also their physical needs. Ditto to other places, such as hotels, prison houses, or market places.
This woman who heads a mobile ministry known as Awesome God Ministries, came into existence a year ago has positively impacted the lives of people. The graduate of Mass Communication of the Delta State University and Word of Life Bible School, told Daily Sun that she has a new book that dwells on relationship and other issues.

On how she received the call, Okobi said: “ I did not get the call on any one day. What I got was the realisation that God had created an assignment for me. Before then, I saw several visions spaning many years, even before I got born again. In 1995, I got born again at the House-hold of God Church under the leadership of Pastor Chris Okotie, but I kept denying the call until I attended Winners Chapel where Bishop David Oyedepo announced that the forms of the Bible school was out for sale. He appeared to speak on my situation, when he insisted that all those who had been running away from God’s call must now heed it.”

The dedicated woman of God also seem to be passionate about her book entitled The Roof Must Not Leak, which she said is basically a manual on relationships.

“The book is about relationships. Everywhere we go, we deal with the struggles of relationships, yet all these were masked in the pretence of bliss. The family is the smallest unit of the society, but it is only a good relationship that creates a cohesive and united family and by extension, a stronger society. That is my driving force.”

She added that the book also guides on how to be fruitful, whether in or out of a relationship. It is written as an admixture of fact and fiction in a way that is interactive and compelling.

Now you want to know when she came up with the mobile ministry and if the book was written out of any past experience and she replied: “It is a mixed bag. The ministry was given to me. It was not my making. The book is a mixture of my past experiences and other people’s experiences. Most of it is a creation of synergies. I have many God fearing, dedicated men and women, not limited by denominational dichotomies. I have partners in all the churches I have attended and many more. We call them Kingdom Partners.

Happily married, Pastor Cynthia as she is fondly called, is also a stylish woman with special taste for quality dresses. She spoke on her fashion sense too. “ As a woman of God, my life is expected to be exemplary. I do choose what I wear. I always dress responsibly and I am aware of the likely effects of dressing provocatively or shabbily.

Cleanliness, as we all know, is next to godliness, they say. So, one has to be clean and modest in appearance.”
