If not for the gospel, things would have been worse

For Reverend John Uuijiatalor, 50 years should not be a time for eating and drinking, but a time to do something posterity will remember him for.

Celebrating 50 years for him was a time to sow in the life of people, hence, he launched a foundation to take care of the poor and needy.

He told Daily Sun recently that, “50 years is significant in virtually every event of life, hence it is represented with gold, which means something of great value.”

He also spoke on the impact of the word of God on the country.

Impact of word of God
The word of God is making an impact despite the ups and down, else, the situation could have been worse for us and for our nation. However, we know that the impact it is making is not enough, hence, the need to make more effort. The only way for us to achieve this is to live a good life. This is necessary because people who preach the gospel should be seen to live a good life, they should not only be heard but also be seen doing good.

The youth and the gospel
These young people, I believe, never had a good example to follow, because a lot of us who are leaders should have been mentors. We should be more concerned with mentoring others. If they had seen a good example to follow, then we can blame them.

They didn’t see good examples to follow, they all aspire, whether wrongly or rightly, to be rich men and by so doing, they run into problems. We will not excuse them, because ignorance of the law is not an excuse. I believe in proper child upbringing however.
