Fidelity's Save & Fly promo produce 1st car winner

A Kano State based customer, Mr Mohammed Kabir Isyaq has emerged as the first winner of a brand new Honda City salon car, the star prize of the first national draw of the on-going Save & Fly Promo, organized to mark the 20th Anniversary of Fidelity Bank Plc in Lagos.

Mr. Isyaq, who is an account holder at Kano 2 branch office of Fidelity Bank, became the luckiest winner in the five-month long promotion which also saw four winners of a return ticket to Dubai, UAE, twelve winners of brand new motorcycles and ten winners of electric power generators.

An elated Mr. Isyaq who was in his house in Kano when his name came up as winner in the Lagos draw, expressed appreciation when he spoke on phone about the promo.
Winners of the return ticket to Dubai in the Save & Fly promo include Dele Olawepo, Idris O Abdulganiyu, Chukwudi M Nwosu and Ahmed Yusuf Nyamekye , while winners of twelve motorcycles and ten generators emerged from other branch offices across the country.

So far over 20,000 Nigerians have won different prizes in the anniversary promo which kicked off on a high note on August 1, 2008. Hajara Mohommed Sani, Ishaya Sai'du, Ibrahim Jummai Zuyaili and Ngutor Yongo were also winners of a return ticket to Dubai from Abuja zone of the draws.

Speaking at the Lagos Draw, Mr. Emmanuel Amalai, Director, Consumer Protection Council (CPC), described the promo as an exemplary effort in customer appreciation which should be emulated by other members of the corporate Nigeria. He commended Fidelity Bank for giving back in such a generous way to the customers that had kept it in business in the past 20 years.
Chief Willie Obiano, Executive Director, Business Banking, reiterated the bank's commitment to give customers something to cheer for in the remaining months of the promo which ends in December this year.

According to him, customers had continued to win instant prizes and gifts each time they topped their account with N20,000 or opened a new one with the same sum.
He recalled that similar draws had been held in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Onitsha and Kano where the bank's customers had smiled home with a sundry prizes and gifts.

Chief Obiano further explained that customers who operate any of the bank's six savings accounts (Sweeta, FPSS, FSA, Easi-save, Premium Graduate Account and Premium Students Account) stand a chance of winning diverse gifts and prizes.
Since throwing its doors open for business on June 3, 1988, Fidelity Bank has grown from a small merchant bank into a one stop financial supermarket with $1billion in shareholders funds.
