Super Tyres Limited has introduced Techking brand of all-terrain tyres otherwise known as off the road (OTR) tyres to Nigerian market.

Solely marketed and distributed by Super Tyres Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of the Sun Group and an off shoot of Viramsun Nigeria Limited, distributors of GT Radial, Double Coin, Vikrant, Nison & Sonnit and SunGlobe range of tyres, Techking tyres is expected to provide veritable alternative to stakeholders in the construction and industrial sectors.

Predominantly used on industrial machines and earthmoving equipment, Chinese-made Techking tyres is designed with great precision to compete with OTR tyres in the premium segment.
P. Kasbekar, marketing manager, Super Tyres Limited, who presented Techking tyres to stakeholders in the construction industry in Ibadan South-West Nigeria, said Techking tyres is founded by tyre industry veterans with immutable passion for research and development integration.
He told the construction engineers that Techking tyres offer complete OTR product line with 20 patterns and 60 models.

Kasbekar, who was joined at the presentation by AllanWang Zhigang, project engineer
Techking Tyres Limited, China noted that the Techking brand of tyres is specially designed to offer value for money. Techking, according to Zhigang, also attaches importance to product quality.
“With this thought deep in mind, Techking sources all its steel cord from Bekaert of Belgium and Kiswire of South Korea, while its natural rubber is sourced only from Malaysia and carbon black from Carbot, USA.
A certified partner of OE, Bell and MXY, Techking tyres seeks to build win-win cooperation with selective top industry players in each territory.
Instead of soliciting orders from whoever can place an order, Techking selects the right partners and supports each other to win a better position in the industry Zhigang, said.
Techking tyres is an ISO9000, CCC, DOT, ECE and INMETRO certified brand and is sold in all the continents including developed countries of the world.
The introduction of Techking tyres to Nigeria is expected to fill the vacuum already created in the OTR tyre segment that is marred by insufficient supply especially now that demand for tyres has been unprecedented.
