Following the series of controversy that has trailed the family of the immediate past president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Co-ordinator of the Ijaw Monitoring Group, Comrade Joseph Evah, has said that the spirit of Bola Ige is hunting the Obasanjos.

He made the scathing remark with Sunday Sun recently.
“It is the spirit of Bola Ige that is exposing and tormenting the family. His spirit has exposed all the corruption that Obasanjo and his gang were involved in and now his children are dancing naked in the market place.

“Look at the probe panel going on about PHCN. Obasanjo told us that Bola Ige is a failure. So Bola Ige is the one that is exposing and tormenting even his family.
“When Bola Ige died, the same Obasanjo government never did anything to unravel the killers. Today, the IG would say he was killed by a carpenter, another week, the Attorney General would say that he was killed by a snake, another week, they would say that he was killed by a night watchman, disgracing Bola Ige, even at death. Today, look at his own children.

It is one of the ways God wants to tell the whole country that Obasanjo is a shameless old man.
He has no family. Is it because he has about 40 women, who gave birth to children for him that he has no discipline in his home. Obasanjo’s son, the other day said he would go and do DNA test to know whether his own children are either Obasanjo’s children or his own. Can you imagine that Obasanjo’s son telling the whole world that his own father was sleeping with his own wife? How can Iyabo be running away? She was running and she had the best lawyer in the country, her father’s lawyer, Afe Babalola and she is hiding.

On one year of Yar Ardua in office
“Some people say Yar’Adua is slow, recently in a newspaper interview with the London Times, he said when people say he is slow, he just laughs, that he is not slow. To me, I would not say that he is slow. Yar Adua is under bondage in Aso rock. In the sense that there is a shadow government that is operating in that Aso rock. And he relies in that shadow government. This shadow government has as members people such as the National Security Adviser, the Chief of Staff, the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Ambassador Baba Gana Kingibe and Rilwanu Lukeman.

All Northerners. There is nothing that he does without consulting this four people. It is these four people that hold the key of his government. He believes that since they have experience, they would be able to give him the best advice for the development of this country. They have no genuine advice for him to help the people of this country. These four people were in government before; they are part of the people that put us in this crazy situation we find ourselves today.

For example, Kingibe betrayed Abiola, entered Abacha government for some selfish reasons and became a minister. There is no way Kingibe has interest of Nigerians at heart. That was why he betrayed Abiola. He benefited from Abacha’s government and overtime, destroyed the economy of this country.
The national security adviser was a former military governor in the North, either Kano state or Kaduna state.When he was governor during the military, they destroyed the economy of this country. They would prepare budget, they would never follow the budget, they never follow rule of law.

Then, the chief of staff, he was the Director of military intelligence (DMI) man, they were the people that were giving fake advice in the security services, they brought Obasanjo from prison and imposed him on Nigerians. All the rubbish Obasanjo was doing, all the probe that is going on in the National Assembly, people were paying money to companies that were not registered in the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the chief of staff is aware. Rilwanu Lukeman during the OPEC presidency and Gulf war windfall was making money for Babaginda. And these are the key people that make up the shadow government of Yar’Adua. They are not interested in Nigeria but their pockets. Yar Adua listens to these four people, takes their advice and since these four people have no vision for Nigeria hence he has no formula for Nigeria. He cannot think for himself.

Goodluck Jonathan
He is having a difficult time because the constitution says he should just be an errand boy to the President. He has no power, he cannot decide what should happen in any part of the country, if he decides to do that, they would say he is a traitor and he wants to take over from the President. If he decides anything on his own, he is in soup.
For example, when he was governor of Bayelsa state, Jonathan felt that the economic power of Bayelsa in the next 50 years will be children that have very good education. Although we insisted he should provide that education in Bayelsa state. But one thing he did was that he moved out some children from Bayelsa state to some strategic secondary schools in Lagos so that in the next 20 to 30 years, this children with their peers will now be one of the pillars in Nigeria. So he moved out some students from the creeks, put them in secondary schools in Lagos, Kings College and the likes in Lagos. So he cannot bring that sort of vision in the Presidency now. If he tries to propose that, they would say that he wants to take over from his master.

Those who were making nonsense of former Vice Presidents, either military or any civilian have been vindicated. They are errand boys without any power. For example Diya, when he was Vice President, the security men were tapping Diya’s phone lines and reporting falsehood to Abacha in order to useless Diya as Vice President. Ditto to Admiral Akhigbe in order to tell Abdulsalam lies that Akhigbe is planning this and that, those security men who were placing secret camera in Aguda House against Diya and others, those guys are still working in Aso Rock.

You are aware that Rogers said that he is still serving. Rogers who was killing on behalf of Abacha said that he is still serving. That means that some of the killings that took place during Obasanjo’s government, Roger and their collegeus are aware. So there are some security agents who were not touched in Aso Rock, who are presently attacking the Vice President’s phone number the way they were doing to General Diya, Admiral Akhigbe and other senior people in the Presidency in order to report them to the President to look as if they want to overthrow the President. The same people are still working against the Vice President.

Replacement of Lamorde with Waziri
There are some powerful forces who don’t want to be tried. People like the former Governor of River state, Odili, who went to court to get immunity that the court should declare that even after office, he has immunity. But we the Ijaw leaders are saying that he must face trial. Let the court declare him innocent. If the court does not declare him innocent, he cannot go to the court. We are even surprised that the Judicial Council has not even punished that judge who said that the former Governor of Rivers state, Odili, has the right to have permanent immunity. So the day Odili dies, the children will continue with that immunity he was enjoying when he was Governor. So people like that are manipulating the President, because they don’t want to face trial, this has brought about some of the changes.

But we the Ijaw leaders are telling them that they would not have peace. If the woman they brought to EFCC, if the people they want to change think that they would just come and behave like ICPC and be telling stories and there is no trial, nothing is happening, we will not give them any breathing space.

Kidnappings in the Niger Delta
Kidnapping of children is done by the security people, those of them working in Government Houses throughout the Niger Delta are the ones involved in that. They have their boys they will tell to go and kidnap and so they share security votes. The security vote that goes to the governors, these agents share them.
Have you seen any Ijaw man that they tried in the name of kidnapping anybody, especially children? No Ijaw person will kidnap a woman and child, nobody does that, so it is the security agents that are organizing those one.

But the other ones are done by Ijaw gods. Ijaw gods only capture and arrest, we don’t kidnap, they only arrest. They arrest oil workers, that one is not a crime. Ijaw gods like Egbesu and Osopele arrest Shell oil workers, Agip oil workers and punish them because they are polluting our environment. They are the ones that are making money for federal government.
Ijaw gods that arrest these oil workers cannot be arrested. The federal government cannot hold them. They can only say that so and so oil workers were kidnapped, ships invaded, but they are done by Ijaw gods.
But the one that are done by armed robbers in places like Lagos, Ibadan and other places are done by armed robbers like ‘one chance’ people.

If they do that in Port Harcourt, people will say it is the militants. It is not militants; they are purely armed robbers who are also having their own style of armed robbery. In the south west, people push you out of the motor after robbing you, which is called ‘one chance”. In the Niger Delta, they also have their own, they go to the houses of people harass them and collect their things and sometimes kidnap little kids, then people will say militants attack people’s houses and kidnap women and all that. They are purely armed robbers. But the Ijaw gods have their own way of punishing oil workers who are polluting our environment without paying compensation. They punish them, those things are legal by Ijaw traditional laws. They cannot be caught because they are gods.

Secret trial of Okah
The federal government has just exposed itself that they have no evidence against Okah. They brought Okah from Angola, why did the Angola government not trial Okah if they found evidence against him that he is buying arms in their country. So there is no evidence. When the Angolan Government found out that it was the Federal Government that wanted to kill Okah in their own country, they deported him. You are aware that the Angolan Government sent message to the internet that we are deporting Henry Okah to Nigeria. Even the Nigerian Government was surprised that the Angolan Government made this thing public. The Angolan Government decided to make this thing public so that the Federal Government will not kill Okah in Nigeria and now say that he commited suicide in Angola and they deported the dead body to Nigeria. So the Angolan people are very clever.

They know the wickedness of the Nigerian state and they know the plan of the Nigerian state to kill Henry Okah in their country. And the Nigerian Ggovernment actually sent people to Angola to kill Okah in Angola. That is why they quickly deported him. And when they deported him, they told the whole world, look oh, our hands are clean, this man is no more with us, we have deported him to Nigeria, he is now with Nigeria. Nigerian Government refused to tell the whole world that Henry Okah is in Nigeria. It was the Angolan Government that told the whole world that we have deported him, so that they would not kill him in Nigeria and say that the body is still in Angola. I want to thank the Angolan Government for disgracing the Nigerian Government. They cannot jail Henry Okah and have peace in the Niger Delta.

Ogbulafor and PDP 60 years’ rule
I know that every Igbo man that listens to Ogbulafor’s statement is ashamed that Ogbulafor is a son of the Igboland. We respect people like Ojukwu. The physical look of Ogbulafor portrays him as an unserious and shameless person. PDP is an abnormal party for making such a person their party chairman. He said that because he is eating free food. He sleeps on free bed, travels around the whole world with free women; they drive free motor with free petrol, so all that has beclouded his sense of reasoning and he talks senselessly.

When Uba Ahmed was secretary of NPN in those days, he was also talking like a drunkard because he was eating free food at that time. He said NPN will rule for a 100 years. Today, where is Uba Ahmed or NPN. NPN is doomed; it is the worse thing that happened to this country. Nobody ever remembers them whether they ever existed. Uba Ahmed said that NPN will rule for 100 years. So Ogbulafor is toeing the same line. If today, they decide to remove Ogbulafor like Audu Ogbe, when Audu Ogbe was chairman of the party, he said that PDP is the greatest party in Africa. The day they sacked him from the party, he said that PDP is the worse thing that has happened to Africa.
So this people talk like that because of the free food and free things they enjoy. I am sure that nobody takes Ogbulafor serious.
