Husband
How we met
We are from the same place, Anambra State, Ichida village.
We went to primary school together. Even though I had known
her for quite a while, it never occurred to me that she could
be my wife until the time was right and God eventually showed
her to me.
Attraction
A lot of things attracted me to her. She is from a Christian
family; I like her upbringing. She is very free and friendly.
Proposal
The day I proposed to her, I went to their house. Then, she
was cooking rice and she asked me if I would like to eat and
I said yes. She brought the rice and I finished everything.
She didn’t know what was in my mind. She did not expect
such from me because we were long time friends living in the
same street. We are childhood friends; we talk about other
people’s affairs.
I went to their house around 7pm and I was there up to 12am,
gisting. I said God help me because I was thinking of the
word I would use to tell her that I wanted to marry her.
Finally, I told her that I would like her to be my wife and
she started laughing. Inside me, I asked if I made any mistake.
Why is she laughing? I wasn’t myself. I said God what
is the problem? I asked her opinion and she said that she
would pray over it.
Describe your wife
She’s an intelligent woman, very educated. She has fear
of God and she is also a mother to me. I think she has every
quality that a woman should have. She is just too sweet to
be with.
Likes
I like everything about her. Most especially the way she talks
and smiles.
Dislike
Sometimes, she is aggressive.
Advice to intending couples
My advice to them is that they should follow their heart and
know what they want from the beginning.
Wife
How we met
We are from the same village. We went to primary school together.
We do share idea together and we talk anytime he comes around.
Attraction
First of all, I asked God to give me a man that will not be
controlled by anybody, somebody who will stand as a man any
day, any time. He is a very unique man. He is a very open
person. He is caring, God-fearing and simple.
Proposal
I was not expecting it. He was very shy in proposing. When
he finally did, I thought of it, I said to myself, this is
the type of man I want. I love him, he has been my friend
and he is a very caring person. I told him I would pray over
it because God is the giver of husband. Even if I love his
person, I must seek the face of God and that was exactly what
I did. After that, we did not see each other until a year.
He was searching for me while I was there praying. When eventually
God brought us together, actions spoke louder than voice.
