Mma Ezea was posted to Asaba in Delta for her compulsory
National Youth Service. Barely six months into the service
year, marriage bug caught up with her and her name changed
from Miss Ezea to Mrs. Eze. She has used one stone to kill
two birds within her one-year sojourn in Delta.
If there is an award meant for toasters, Aloysius Eze should
be recommended for one because he defended his toasting title.
How? To have remembered and applied a secondary school theory,
which captured an admired beauty, makes him a real guy.
He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where
he studied industrial chemistry with other banking qualifications.
Eze needed a shoulder that will lift him up, and he really
found Mma’s shoulder very comfortable, he worked hard
until he stood on that shoulder and was lifted up. Eze told
his love story to Daily Sun.
How we met
I saw her in a church. That day I gazed at her for a long
time. At the end of the service, I went to her and introduced
myself.
Attraction
Her simplicity. I would describe her as an epitome of womanhood.
She is good-natured, kind-hearted, easy-going and posses an
amazing strength of character. She has a stable psychological
bent, good social disposition and enviable intellectual capacity.
Above all, she is a religious person.
Proposal
On that faithful day, I remembered I told her about what Isaac
Newton said in one of his epistles. "If I had seen far,
it was because I stood on the shoulders of a giant".
I therefore told her I would love to be lifted higher by standing
on her shoulders. She agreed with me and the rest is history.
The message was clear and the proposal was a quiet one.
How many kids
Given the economic situation in the country today, three kids
are a manageable number while four might not be out of place.
Advice
I would advice intending couples to stay focused and have
great trust in God. They should not play pranks. Let them
be real and faithful to each other.
