When Oluwaseun Adeyinka met Oluwafemi, his heartthrob, he
did not need anyone to tell him that they were meant for each
other. For a moment and for inexplicable reasons, Seun could
not let his eyes off Oluwafemi even as the latter smiled away,
too. As they sat a few meters away, they winked at each other
and before long, Seun made the move. "1 told her without
mincing words that she was beautiful and that I was ready
to be true to her", Seun revealed.
But that was not all. Seun, further disclosed that like a
ritual, he kept calling her almost everyday. "Her beauty
and velvety voice made her irresistible and as our courtship
lasted, she convinced me beyond doubt that she could make
a good wife and so I popped the question – will you
marry me?"
For Oluwafemi who says she was swept off her feet by the soft-spoken,
handsome and gentle Seun, those words just simply put a seal
on the feelings she had been having in her heart. "I
could not imagine saying no, at least, not to a man who meant
everything to me", Femi, a computer Science diploma holder,
said. "I simply agreed."
In a well-attended wedding event held at Sabo Baptist Church,
Sabo, Ogbomosho, the two lovebirds solemnized their marital
vows.

How she won my heart
I must confess to you that I was first attracted by her beauty
and carriage. But again, her velvety voice did the final job.
Why won't any man fall for a beautiful woman like Oluwaseun?
I bet you that even a priest can abandon his calling for marriage
where a beautiful lady like my wife is involved.
Why she is different from other women
Yes, my wife is quite different from other women and I tell
you why. This is a lady who could be said to have everything
going for her, yet she is so humble and God-fearing. Besides,
she is very accommodating and could go out of her way to help
someone in need, even if it hurts her. This is one essential
trait that I could not discover in other ladies that I had
had the privilege of relating with over the years. Oluwafemi
is a woman I would want to marry all over again, even in my
next world. In fact, her kind is very rare.
What I told her when we met
I told her the normal things guys tell ladies. Of course,
I told her that I loved her. And I meant it because thereafter,
I did everything possible to impress her, at least, to show
that I meant every word that I told her.
Our courtship
We courted for four years and everyday was like we were meeting
each other for the first time. In fact, it did not take long
for me to know that she was the woman God had prepared for
me. And over the years, she has proved to me that she had
no other man in her life and even if she had, she immediately
called it quit so that our relationship can work.

How he won my heart
At first, I was attracted by his build, and of course, he
is very handsome, too. However, I am very grateful to him
because he was instrumental to my graduating with a Diploma
in Computer Science from the Polytechnic, Ibadan. Some men
would have shown signs of insecurity, because their wives
are interested in acquiring quality education, but he supported
me in many ways. That also attracted him to me. It really
encouraged me to give my best to the relationship. When we
started going out, too, I further discovered that he is a
very caring man. Almost every day, he makes it known to me
that he loves me.
My husband and other men
There is no basis to compare my husband with other men at
all. He is a sweet darling, a brother, friend and above all,
the man I love and would spend the rest of my life As far
as I am concerned; he is the only man in my life and world
for me. I do not think there is anyone to compare him with.
He is totally different and there can never be another man
like my husband anywhere in the world.
Our first day out
Our first time out is not different from what two adults in
love feel the first time they go out. But to answer you, it
was an interesting experience. He bought me several gifts
and has never failed ever since. In fact, it was no surprise
from the way we were going that we would end up at the altar.
I love him and he loves me so dearly, too. We are both happy
and in love. |
