For the past year, Segun Obe has been in the studios - working with some of Nigeria‘s best, especially Cobhams and Rymzo. He has been away from the shows, but he has been working hard and strong.

Of course, the nation knows what Segun Obe represents. Stubbornly sticking with gospel in the face of many others who have abandoned it, Segun has made it his life’s course to bring gospel music into the mainstream, and to continually make it more appealing to the mainstream markets.

After months working and sweating it out, Segun is out again - and this time, it’s Segun like you’ve never seen him before! He is pumping up the commercial value - and the beats that are coming from his end right now are hits for the clubs, for the concerts and for the par-ties!

He has announced his return by releasing into the market his new single, Plenty Celebrations - one that features the hit artiste of the moment, 9ice. Prominent collabo on this single is one you cannot afford to miss. The guy just oozes talent! And he compliments Segun perfectly. The song is already enjoying heavy rotation in Cool FM, Rhythm FM, Unity FM, Metro FM and indeed with all the major radio and disc jockeys across the nation.

The critics are already raving about it - it is difficult to find anyone who can resist moving to this beat. To cap it all up, the single is produced by Cobhams; and Cobhams went to town on this beat!
More singles are coming out once this has made the round of deejays, clubs and radio stations around the country. Next up is ‘Kinimolese’ and ‘No Time’, produced by Rymzo.

But that is only half of the news. Even better, Segun is doing something he has never done before in his ten year career in music “ in re-launching his brand, he is launching this album in a major way.
In June - working with RedSTRAT - he will be dragging along heavyweights and the brightest stars from the music industry for a major event of performances
And from what we are seeing, Segun Obe's launch, and his coming-soon album, are going to grab the nation's attention big time! Get ready!
