The entertainment industry in Nigeria is fast gaining popularity
in Asia as Agubom Kingsley aka Kurious K has taken a bold
step to expose the country rapidly growing showbiz industry
to China, Japan and other Asian countries.
The Imo State-born musician, and Theatre Arts graduate, recently
returned from a business tour of Asia where he promoted Nigerian
music and movies which he tagged: Afro-Asia Integration.
In music and movies. According to Kurious K, who is a major
player in the entertainment industry, Afro-Asia integration
is designed to establish a working relationship between Asian
and African entertainment companies and create opportunities
for more businesses for African and Asian showbiz markets.
Kurious K, as a result of his trip to China, has concluded
all the necessary arrangements to produce a movie and an album
in Asia which will respectively feature a good number of Asian
and African showbiz professionals. Kurious K, who did a duet
with Daddy Fresh in his first album (Curious Flavours) in
a track entitled: Chelugodu told Daily Sun that this laudable
project would be used to promote African/Asian music and movies
in Africa and Asia respectively.
He lamented that African music is not well promoted and patronized
in Asia and vowed to use the project to promote African music
and movies in Asia.
