Jamaican dancehall music duo of Shaka Demus and Pliers were the star of the Lagos edition of music/comedy concert, Made In Warri show that held recently at Fantasy Land, Ikoyi.
The musicians wowed the audience at Celtel Nigeria sponsored with some of their popular hits including Murder She Wrote, Tease Me Tease Me and She Don’t Like Nobody which featured Idols West Africa runner-up, Omawunmi.

“We have heard several negative things about Nigeria but after being here more than once, we feel at home,” Shaka Demus told the audience in his characteristic his coarse voice.
Nigerian artistes also gave a good account of themselves at the show with performances by top musicians and comedians including Sammie Okposo, X-Project, I Go Dye, Maliki, I Go Save, A.Y, D Don, E Lenu, Onyebuchi, Princess, Seyi Law, Alegbe and Emeka Smith.

In line with the objective of grooming new talents, the show also witnesses performances by upcoming talents which were discovered at the version of the show which recently held at Asaba. Sim Card, an upcoming comedian had the rare privilege of kick starting the show. Organizers of the show were so impressed with his performances at the last show and he equally justified the trust they had in him by giving the show a good starting.
Other attractions at the show include performances by X-Plicit, a children dance group and Ebony Band.

The show also received support from other corporate organizations including HiTV, Zoece Global Ventures and public relations firm, White Waters Limited.
On the next move of the show, comedian cum musican, Gordons Komone aka Gordons who now tinkers the show after the originator, Richard Mofe-Damijo joined partisan polictics said that the show will continue in its touring tradition. According to the multi-talented artiste, the show will hold in Abuja and London later this year.

Meanwhile, some of the audience smiled home with gifts including phones and free Celtel airtime and other paraphernalia after emerging through a raffle draw that was supervised by Mr. Obi Ariwodo, Head Commercial Unit, Celtel Nigeria.
