Beautiful Samantha Sunday Olumeka is now a force to reckon with in the music industry following the release of her maiden album entitled, Impressive.

The hip-hop songbird who is in her early 20s continues to have impressive outings during shows and concerts.
On why she titled her album Impressive, the artiste said “ This is because I love to do things that would be appreciated. I love singing, dancing and putting smiles on the faces of people especially the under privileged.”

The Delta State-born artiste who grew up in Kaduna and Abuja told Daily Sun that she started playing music as a child but that she became a professional singer in 2002.
Her video is currently being played on TV stations both home and abroad including Channel O and MTV. Impressive is a 14 track album.
The album impressive has four videos. They are, Jo fun mi, Lose control, Turn me on and Move your body.

“ Move your body has been shot before, in fact it is my first ever song. It wasn’t easy. I felt sick. I was younger and I didn’t even know what I was doing in that video. I just have to re-shoot it to attain acceptable standard. I had to get dancers and Alex Mouth, my director to Abuja.”

Speaking on the challenges she encountered, the artiste revealed. “ The challenges I encountered during the video shooting are numerous. In Jo fun mi, I used a guy (Nice Dog) who sings like the American hip-hop star, Jarule. A lot of people gathered so we had to wait till late in the evening before we started shooting. We used a cardillac which put a hole in my sponsor’s pocket. I had to go to Lagos to shoot the second part. I shot in a ship and aircraft. It wasn’t easy. It took us three weeks to shoot in the ship and it cost us a lot of money. We also had a flying boat session.” Samantha said.

While appreciating all those who contributed to her success, the delectable artiste hinted that work on her second album is now in progress. “ I thank my sponsor who is like a father for everything as well as my director, his wife and little daughter. Most of all, I thank God almighty for making everything possible for me.”

Samantha who launched her album last year is on her label, Samantha Music International. But Galaxy Impression concept currently markets and distributes her album.
