Enyimba captain, Ajibade Omolade, is confident that his team are capable of turning the heat against the visiting Club Africain of Tunisia in this weekend’s CAF Champions League tie in Aba.

The People’s Elephant skipper vowed to help his club win the Champions League trophy once again. He promised not to take chances against the Tunisians on Sunday.

Maurice Cooreman’s men will simply have to win all their remaining league games, to further boost their chances of representing the country in the continental fiesta next season.
“I'm happy to be part of this club and to be able to give my contribution in the race for silverware,” said the defender.

“Now there are only three local league games left before the end of the season and we have to get as many points as possible.
“We are playing well in the Champions League and it would be important to beat Club Africain on Sunday and then travel to Tunisia with the awareness that we have to win.”

Enyimba's title defence was dealt a cruel blow when they were clearly denied victory in their weekend game with JUTH FC, after Ezenwa Otorogu's 74th minute goal was cancelled by the centre referee, Odeniran.

Enyimba had beaten the Jos side 2–0 in the first leg on December 16, 2007.
The crucial Champions League clash with Club Africain will be played on Sunday at the Enyimba Sports Stadium in Aba.
