Former Enyimba’s coach, Kadiri Ikhana, believes that the Aba team could still turn the table against Al Ahly Fooball Club of Egypt in the CAF Champions League semi-final return leg in Cairo.

The man, who led the People’s Elephant to glory in 2003 is still optimistic that Enyimba could survive the aggression of the Egyptians in the second leg.
He recalled how he survived another Egyptian side, Ismaila FC in 2003 with the Aba Millionaires, and urged the team not to give up.

"It’s not over until the final whistle, and we still have the second leg to play. While the situation may look tough, it’s not impossible to ride over.
"It was a similar case for us in 2003, when we beat Ismaila 2–0 at home and it was like the score line was not wide enough, but we went to Egypt and got the needed victory," he recalled.

The Sharks of Port Harcourt technical adviser saluted the Maurice Cooreman’s technical crew for what he called a job well done, and urged them to work on the team’s attack to make it sharper before the return battle in Cairo.
"The coaches are doing well and I believe they know what to do. They only need to sharpen the attack line a little bit and I am sure victory will come their way," Ikhana stated.
