An indication has emerged to explain why the Presidential Task Force (PTF) has not publicly raised an eyebrow over the vote of confidence passed by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Super Eagles’ Coach Shaibu Amodu.

A member of the PTF, ex-football star, John Fashanu, told brilafm.net that Amodu did a good job in qualifying the Eagles for the World Cup and should be left alone to enjoy resultant accolades, at least, for now.

“Our position on the retention of Amodu is something which I wouldn’t comment on at the moment. What I will say is that Amodu has done a wonderful job as a coach.
“He has single handed ensured that Nigeria qualify for the 2010 World Cup, which is a magnificent achievement.

“Right now, he should be swimming and enjoying all the praise, because he has made it possible.
“How we go on from here is something that both the NFF and the PTF will sit down together and decide,” ‘Fash The Cash’ submitted.
