Show of excellence as JD7 mark 5

Associates, friends and relations gathered at Victoria Crown Plaza, Victoria Island, last week to celebrate with the management of JDJ Couture as it marks five years of its existence in the fashion world. The theme for this year’s event is “Spectrum Extreme”. Amidst glamour and style, which JD7 is noted for, various rainbow colours were unveiled by different companies and individuals.

Also, different fashion styles were on display by male and female professional models. The styles are out of the world and the fabrics are amazing. One could say that it is five years of unparalleled African excellence as there were lots of African prints done in different styles.

First to come on stage was the beachwear collection made in black and white colours, followed by the ready to wear collection. The rock glamour collection, which also came on stage, was quite amazing. There were also eveningwear collection and finally, the Avant Garde collection, which was a display of creativity by JD7 Couture.

To add more glamour to the event, the event featured celebrity runway. Some of the celebrities include Aju Elumelu, Debbi Hornecker, Toyin Raji, Yinka Adewunmi, Maria Anazodo and Eucharia Anunobi.

Awards were also given to some models that performed credibly at the show. Boma Akpore was rewarded by “Anabel Mobile” as the best male model while Zeta Nobolisa was adjudged the best runway female model and was also rewarded by “Anabel Mobile”, each got a mobile handset. A professional Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi was the best celebrity runway and was rewarded by “Qualitex la Boutique” with some fabrics.
