The Gold partnership with Beta Computers, according to Latisha Carter, Senior Partner Program Specialist (Certified Consultants) for Sage, Inc, said that it is not unconnected with her demonstrated professional competence in the functionality of DacEasy software, a powerful business management information software that empowers small and medium-sized companies to manage and control operations more effectively and efficiently.

Every Sage software certified consultant, according to Carter, goes through a comprehensive certification process that covers advanced functionality of the product, including installation, importing, and customization.

BETA COMPUTERS's, whose various products and services have continued to attract huge demands in the Nigerian market, including educational sector, according to the Managing Director of the company, Will Anyaegbunam, is the only company to be so certified in Nigeria, adding that it is also currently the only company in Nigeria listed on the DacEasy website (www.daceasy.com) as a certified consultant.
DacEasy software, according to him, is a complete, powerful, easy-to-use accounting solution that has been satisfying users and winning awards for more than a decade.

“It is a powerful business management information software suite that helps small and medium-sized companies to manage and control operations more effectively and efficiently. At its core, is a series of fully integrated modules that deliver vital information to operate and grow businesses” he said.
Beta Computers, established in 1989, he said, is a total and complete IT solutions company engaged in all facets of the IT industry.

“We are active, strong and reputable in Systems Analysis and Design, Communications and Structured Networks Management Systems, Accounting Systems Design and Implementation and Point of Sales Management Systems Design and Implementation. We have the capacity to support the Nigerian market.

Before now, the company’s SPEEDSTAR SKOLA PCs, a product specially designed for use in educational and training institutions, cyber cafes and homes in the country, has been attracting market attention because of its state-of-art-technology.
The product, which is already attracting patronage in the Nigerian market, according to Anyaegbunam, comes with one year warranty covering both labour and parts. They are made to be affordable to ensure that it is within the reach of end users, he added.

He revealed that Microsoft Corporation had also granted special concessions on the company’s office application software to ensure that scholars have access to a rounded ICT learning experience at the least possible cost, adding that additional content was under development for inclusion in the SKOLA PC package to continually add better value to it.

He said that SPEEDSTAR Systems were put through stringent quality tests that ensure the user gets the very best in performance, stability and compatibility, while providing excellent scalability and practical functionality for both home and enterprise computing demands.

SPEEDSTAR Computers won the PCs brand of 2007 award and one of the four local brands certified by the Federal Government for patronage by all her ministries and parastatals and establishments and is currently an Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) partner for the Federal Government’s recently launched Computers For All Nigerians initiative (CANi).
