Breathtakingly beautiful Mariam Elisha is a photographer’s delight.

This 200 level student of English at the University of Lagos, is a model with a difference. She has participated in various beauty pageants and featured in different adverts including MTN, V-Mobile, Delta and Fayrouz, which was shot in Egypt.
Elisha is also stylish in her outlook. She spoke to Daily Sun about her fashion sense and style.

Style
I think style is the way you dress, combine colours that suits your complexion and brings out the best in you, in terms of physical appearance.

I like to wear jeans when I am going to school. Then when I am going for occasions like beauty pageants, dinners, I wear gowns. And for weddings, I wear native. I wear more of jeans and natives as well as long skirts.

Designer
My designer is Tadiun Afrik, but in Nigeria, I like other designers like Zizi Cardow, Modela and the rest.

Shoes and bags
I wear any kind of shoes, but I prefer Gucci and Nine West.

Jewelry/Accessories
I wear any kind of jewelry, I like gold, silver and it depends on what I am wearing. I just combine all of them. I like accessories like beads, traditional accessories. I get appreciated when I wear it and it suits me better. It depends on what I am wearing. I have different kinds of combination.

Make up
I use mild make-up, but when am on stage, I use heavy make up so that it comes out good when I am shooting a job. I like black opal and powder. Sometimes I use mac powder.

Beauty routine
I maintain my skin by using a good lotion like dove cream and soap.

Favourite colour
I like pink, black and white. I like the combination because it suits me, it brings out a good colour on my skin. The pink makes me feel am a lady, the black and white makes me feel I am corporate.

Exercise
I go to gym, I do aerobics, I do sit ups to flatten my tummy. I watch what I eat, I take much of fruits, vegetables and less of carbohydrate.

Role model
I like Naomi Campbell, Agbani Darego and Oluchi. Oluchi and Agbani changed the way people feel about modeling in Nigeria and that is what motivated me to come out.

Hairstyle
I like normal fixing, suku and other traditional hair style. I also darken my hair cream with cream oil.

Nails
I do pedicure and manicure regularly because I like them looking very clean.

Beauty philosophy
Beauty is a way of life. Everyone is beautiful, it depends on the way you take care of your skin, the way you combine colours, the way you appear in your house and outside your house. Beauty is part of nature. In an aspect, it is expensive to maintain beauty but it is also affordable.

Perfume
I like Dior, Calvin, Klein, Dolce and Gabbana. Dior is mild, I don’t like sharp perfumes, it irritates me.
