Children are heritage from God, and to prove this, a church-based non-governmental organization, Changing Our World Foundation (COWF) recently hosted about 250 children of widows and single parents to a special treat at the Aunty Ayo Grammar School, Obalende, Lagos.

The children who were treated to sumptuous meals and drinks had lots of fun and a variety of games. They were also given gifts ranging from rain coats that could help them in this season of incessant downpour.

The founder of the organization, Pastor Wale Adefarasin in his remark said:"this is what God wants us to do as a church. Look at the faces of the children, many have not had food of this quality. We are also giving them rain coats which will help them in the rainy season. Most of their parents may not be able to afford it. If only we could do more."

He added that this is certainly just the first step towards changing our world.
The children whose faces beamed with smiles were happy and grateful to God for such an opportunity.
