Steve,
Am a regular reader of the extremely lovely pieces you drop
on your 'Frank Talk Column'
The idea here isn't to sing your praises, but, quite 'Frankly'
you are good with the quil. Am certain you know that already.
That is that. Rather, am here appealing you don't stop.
When you are 'Frank' with issues, for sure, a whole lot of
fellows will be angered. But these lot, clearly, are the ones
that benefit from the ills in discourse.
I wouldn't start commenting on the everly present humourous
bubbles you envelop your pieces with. That for me makes you
'The Man'! That's your attitude. I simply love it. It keeps
me coming back. And if I don't find new articles, I read the
old ones again. Thereby reliving the fun. I loose nothing.
It's all win-win. Thanks to you!
Your take on issues are always plausible. You must know by
now, there are still a whole of other fellows, like me, who
appreciates the bit you are doing.
God just will keep blessing you.
I am out.

Steve,
You suddenly disappeared. I thought these demons that call
themselves leaders have taken you. Please, tell Yar’Adua
to listen to the masses on this issue of re-denomination of
the naira. He told us that he would be our servant. Please
tell him to sack the AJF now, God bless you

Why do you have to insult Obasanjo? Take your own insult too:
IDIOT.

I enjoy your “Frank Talk” because you strictly

Steve,
I am a management consultant based in Port Harcourt. Let me
congratulate you for your fearless presentations. My professional
view is that Prof C. Soludo should resign the job now. It
is the only honourable thing to do. It appears to like there
is a clique that wants to see him disgraced. His world record
as a famous economist is a problem to some people, he must,
therefore be stopped so that the ‘old order’ can
take over. Another drop in his rating may be destructive.
And that’s the target.

While I agree with Soludo and you on the issue naira re-denomination,
can you guys ask him the rationale behind the renovation of
CBN, Lagos with N32 billion. This beats Etteh’s own
o.

Steve,
It is heavy for me to say that an elderly man like Gen. Obasanjo
had lied, but I want to say that, for him to have said that
he never wanted the failed third term and that he doesn’t
read Nigerian newspapers, are not true.
Can you now, see that the only achievement in President Yar’Adua’s
100 days in office is the dismantling of Chief Obasanjo’s
illegalities?
••••
Steve,
I like your frankness, especially, the way you present national
issues with uttermost clarity and simplicity including the
way you and other journalists fought the third term bid to
a standstill, but your position on Prof. Soludo and his re-denomination
policy is where I disagree with you. Mind you, I am an Igbo
man like you and so my disagreement is devoid of any tribal
sentiment.

Steve,
Please, don’t stop writing for the sake of some of us.
Now, that you are back I can ask my wife for a Soludo -naira
re-domination pounded yam with an Obasanjo outburst (sorry)
egusi soup. Keep it up.
