Falcons goaltender, Uluchi Tochukwu, is ready to kill anyone who tries to lure her into the act of lesbianism. She would rather die than involve herself in such dirty act with her fellow female friend or teammate.

Uluchi is one of the the prettiest players in the Super Falcons team that won the gold medal at the 9th All Africa Games and this put her under heavy pressure, coming from both male and female admirers in and outside football.

But the 17-year-old insists that she can manage the numerous attention she is receiving from male and female fans, but that what she abhors is anyone making indecent overtures at her, on or off the field.

She told Daily Sunsport in an exclusive chat, after the trouncing of Algeria in the semi finals of the soccer event at the Games, that she would beat any girl or woman who makes amorous attempt on her, adding that she cannot imagine dating a fellow girl like her.

"I will not only beat any woman who tries to lure me into lesbianism, I might even kill her. Pray let no one make such passes at me because my reaction would shock the female soccer scene," said the Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa goal stopper.

She said she had heard rumours of such dastardly acts, and no girl has made such moves to be her lover. She pointed out that if they tried, they would regret it, because I will not spare that person.

"Our coaches have severally warned us not to practice lesbianism in and outside camp, and I want to believe that none of the present Super Falcons players are into such act. The coaches are very serious about it and they even threatened to expel anyone caught involved in the act," the fair skinned goalkeeper stated further.

Asked if her boyfriend comes to watch her play, her response was direct, "I don’t have a boyfriend and I don’t intend to have one now, until I meet my target of winning some laurels for Nigeria."

She also explained that because of distancing herself from men, some people believe she is a lesbian – because most of her friends are girls. She added that she is from a disciplined family, and can never do such a thing.

On why she wears an oversized goalkeepers jersey, the Imo State-born goalkeeper stated that the jersey was given her by the Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Austin Ejide, and that the jersey inspires her to perform very well during matches.

"Aside from inspiring me to keep well during matches I think the jersey has some luck, which has been propelling me to greater performances. I don’t mind using other jersey but, for now, I am enjoying the best of time wearing Ejide’s jersey gift.

"I like the way Ejide keeps and I want to be like him. He is a great goalkeeper and, like him, I also dream of playing in Europe some day.

"I am not afraid of wearing the No 1 jersey at the World Cup, because I have been growing in confidence in all the matches I have played in recent times. To tell you the truth, God has always been the spirit behind my present form and I hope to take the form to the World Cup in China.

"By the special grace of God and with the high spirits of the girls now, the World Cup would bring out the best in me and the rest members of the team. God will be with us in China and we shall cause some upsets.”

On marriage Oluchi, who shone a million stars at the All Africa Games in Algiers, stated that marriage would have to wait for her to make a good career from football, and to pursue her education to an appreciable level. "I want to study up to university level, and this is just to prepare me for the future after I might have stopped playing,” she said.
