The wife of Samson Siasia, chief coach of Nigeria’s Dream Team IV, Mrs Siasia, has attributed the team’s 2–0 victory over Cote d'Ivoire to the Grace of God, even as she insisted that Brazil and Argentina would discover to their chagrin that Nigeria has been anointed to leave China with the Olympic football gold medal.

"The victory against Cote d’Ivoire had the amazing grace of God in all segments of the game and I still see God completing what He has started by taking us over Belgium and then beating either Brazil or Argentina in the final.

"The Dream Team IV as you see them have been improving with every game and I want to tell you that by the time we are through with Belgium in the semi-final, the so-called favourites - Argentina or Brazil will not know what will hit them in the final.
"Mark my words, the gold medal is ours and the battle is the Lord’s. Any opponent now will discover that the Dream Team have the full anointing of God and that they would be playing against Lord's anointed," Mrs Siasia professed

Asked which team she would prefer the Dream Team to meet in the final, Madam Siasia, who is in Beijing to give her husband moral and spiritual support said she would have loved the team to revenge the 2–0 defeat inflicted on Nigeria in the 2005 World Youth Championship final in Holland, but that Brazil would be easier to handle.

She stated that at this stage, the difference between all the four qualifiers was not much, but that Nigeria has the advantage of going to war with the name of God and that the boys were very determined to win than the rest of the teams.
