You haven’t seen anything yet! that's Kevin Keegan's verdict on Obafemi Martins. The Newcastle United striker went in against double-chasing Chelsea at St James's Park yesterday afternoon with Keegan predicting he would get better in the coming seasons.

Martins, who has formed a formidable three-pronged attack with Michael Owen and Mark Viduka over the past two months, took his tally for the season into double figures with a superb goal in the 2–2 draw against West Ham at Upton Park.

And Keegan was not surprised Arsene Wenger is among those casting envious eyes on the 23-year-old, with the Arsenal boss linked with a £15million swoop for Martins over the weekend.

But Keegan, having seen first hand what a handful the Nigeria international is for opposition defences, is in no mood to let him leave the club.
He told the Gazette: "I thought he was outstanding against West Ham.
"Oba's got the trick. He comes out of a situation, and you think: 'How did he do that?'. He did it again. It was a great goal, and great ball from Joey (Barton). It was a good finish.
"He's working very hard for the team, and he's trying to do things that, probably, in the past, he hasn't done so easily.

“Oba's still only 24, and still learning the game, and we've seen what he's capable of when you put him into the mix with what we've got.
“Mark holds the ball up so well, and Michael's so assured on the ball. You know he's not going to give it away too often, you're surprised if he does.”
