A big pay day is coming the way of John Mikel Obi at Chelsea, as the club's top brass have tabled a special winning bonus of £600,000 per player should they win the Premier League title this weekend.

Aside winning the domestic title, Mikel and his pals at Stamford Bridge will also smile to the bank with a special largesse should they stop Manchester United in the May 21 UEFA Champions League final.

The Catalyst will be primed for better thrills, even as he basks in the euphoria of 90 minutes of action in Monday's 2–0 win away to Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins and the Newcastle United bunch.

Mikel is now filled with high expectations of a cash flow, after The Blues' owner, Roman Abramovich promised to fork out nearly £14.5 million on incentives if the team complete the dream double.

If they pip Manchester United to the Premier League title on Sunday's dramatic final day of the season, a £2.6 million bonus will be shared among Mikel and the other players.
More cheering news for Mikel shows that he could also earn up to another £369,000 each if the club go on to beat United in the UEFA Champions League final in Moscow, on Wednesday forthnight.
