Dream Team 4 left-wing-back, Taye Ismaila Taiwo (The Tornado) is not ready to play solidarity with Wilson Oruma by leaving Olympique Marseille in the summer, declaring instead that he aims to stick out with the French Ligue One club for another season.

In contrast with fear raised among OM top brass that the Super Eagles star might leave in solidarity with Oruma, whose contract Marseille’s board say they will not renew, Taiwo has come out with a reassuring statement that he will stay at least one more season at Stade Velodrome before considering a move.

Marseille would be even happier to learn that Taiwo is also selective, as the former Lobi Stars defender says to move at all next season would mean going to a club bigger than the former European champions - only one of the top clubs in Europe.
"I don’t want to leave Marseille now. I want to play one more year in the French league and, after that, I will see what happens," said Taiwo, who was voted into Ligue Un team of the season after a superb run of top form in the outgoing campaign.

He went on to declare that it would take a top European club to prise him away from Marseille, who are currently in Morocco for an after-season warm-down.
"If I want to leave, I have to make sure I am going to a big club that is either as big as Marseille or bigger. I want to go to England, but it has to be to one of the big clubs, I don’t want to go to a club that is smaller than Marseille," the left-footed bomber stressed.
