Returnee Bello Kofarmata of Kano Pillars has set his sights at claiming the highest goal scorers crown at the end of the current season. Bello who left the country at the end of last season for greener pasture in Norway rejoined the team last week and is rearing to go as the league defending champions struggle to catch up with the top contenders in the league table.

Leaguemania learnt that the dark skinned workaholic returned to the country not because of his inability to impress club officials abroad, but because of the wheather which had a negative effect on his well being.

He said the experience he gained while in Norway would help him score more goals and help his club retain the trophy they won last season.
“I had a tough time coping with the weather in Norway. I will consider travelling out for trial closed at least for now, because the weather out there was unfavourable.

“In fact, I could not get to half of what I give to Kano Pillars in the Premier League.
I would have dumped Kano Pillars on my return because several clubs including Enyimba and Bayelsa United were keen on signing me, but I had to rejoin Pillars to contribute my own quota towards their
CAF Champions League campaign.
“I might be going back to Europe by January if all arrangements works perfectly, and there will be no excuse of cold or hot weather.
