OFFICIAL sponsor of Nigeria’s national teams, Globacom, has congratulated the Flying Eagles on their 2-1victory over Burundi in the 2017 African Youth Championship qualifying match played at U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar on Saturday.

The team, which won the first leg, played in Burundi a fortnight ago by a lone goal, thus qualified for the next round on 3-1 goals aggregate.

Wolfsburg of Germany player, Victor Osimhen scored the first goal in the 70th minute from the penalty kick after Samuel Chukwueze was fouled in Burundi’s goal area.

The Flying Eagles increased the tally in the 83rd minute, when team captain, Kelechi Nwakali’s well taken free kick beat Burundi’s goalkeeper hands down.
