The Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has fixed June 30, 2018 as the deadline to complete payment of Hajj fare by intending pilgrims in the state.
The Agency’s Director-General, Alhaji Shehu Mohammed Range, announced this in a statement issued to journalists and signed by Faruku Umar, a Media Assistant.
Range said the deadline was in line with the directives given by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He advised the intending pilgrims to hasten the completion of their deposit and submit their necessary documents that include e-passport, and 15 copies of their passport photographs on or before June 30, 2018.
The Director-General maintained that on its part, the agency is working round the clock to ensure a hitch-free of this year Hajj exercise and urged to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the exercise.
