With less than 24 hours to the 2019 elections, gospel music act, UK based Mike Pounds has dropped a spanking brand new single entitled Baba which was officially released on Saturday, February 9, 2019.
Speaking with Entertainer, Pounds who dropped another single entitled Yahweh a while ago and which was a resounding success said Baba was inspired by the current delicate situation of the country.
He said: “The situation in Nigeria is deplorable. We need prayers to restore our great nation. The inspiration for the song came after seeing the happenings in Nigeria on one of my visits a while ago. I realised that if God doesn’t intervene, there could be serious war. I heard in my spirit that we had to pray for Nigeria. Consequently, all I could do was sing a song of supplication in my heart to God and that was how Baba was birthed.”
Currently, Baba is on massive rotaions across radio stations and also available for download online on major music blogs.”
