Gombe State based team, Mailantarki Football Academy has grabbed a deserving semi-final ticket at the ongoing 2022 Dana Cup in Denmark. The academy on Friday morning, beats Norwegian 1st division side, Stijodal-Blink 4-0 to set up a semi final outing against Swedish side, Verbargs Bols FC.

In their quest for glory, the only Nigerian team in the tourney, opened the duel goal account with a brace. The goal which was scored by club top finisher Miko Dalha left their counterpart distabilized. Partner, Auwal Abba trippled the score line before half time

Going into the second half, the club owned by Gombe State governorship aspirant under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, were too good for the opponent as they were limited to single attempt on goal but thanks to goal tender, Edward Ameh.

The club who never failed to make good account of themselves, sealed their victory with the 4th goal few minutes to final whistle.
