A group, Atikowa’ Movement has been with the main objective of mobilising grassroots support for the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Coordinator of the group, Mr. Oke Umurhohwo, assured the PDP of proper mobilisation of grassroots voters for the Atiku/Okowa ticket in 2023.
Umurhohwo called on Nigerians to use their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) to stop the All Progressive Congress (APC) directionless leadership, saying that the Atiku/Okowa partnership will offer great hope of turning around fortunes of Nigerians.
“Atiku’s policy document is a profound statement that he is prepared to fix Nigeria, considering his choice of running-mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa. And this is why Atikowa Movement is taking steps to actualization this noble goal, and in the next few days, we will commence an ambitious move to rally voters at the grassroots.
“Our goal is for Nigeria to have a president that can solve problems, treat all Nigerians equal, not someone motivated by ethnicity or religious belief in decision making. A president that will listen to Nigerians and not just to satisfy personal ambition and greed,” he stated.
The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, weekend, lauded Mr. Oke Umurhohwo and his team for the initiative and birth of Atikowa Movement to garner grassroots supports for their principal across the country.
Meanwhile, the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has commended the group for it’s support, urging it’s members to stay focus on the ultimate goal to rescue Nigeria.
Atiku who gave the commendation when the group visited him, said it is his quest to lead Nigeria to the promised land in 2023, noting that he is pleased to see young Nigerians taking bold steps to change the narratives.
