Ahead of the 2023 general elections in the country, wife of the executive governor of Silifat Abdullahi Sule have charged women to be the source of strength to their husbands in achieving their political goals.
This is even as she advised women to come out and participate actively in the forthcoming general elections inorder to be involved in the democratic process.
This dominated discourse yesterday at the Lafia Local government secretariat during the statewide “Meet the women tour”  by the Nasarawa state First Lady, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule.
Silifat said “if only women will advise their husbands appropriately, peaceful coexistence will thrive.”
It’s the second day of the APC meet the women tour campaign in the southern zone of the state and women from Lafia and Doma came together to synergies  ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Silifat further appealed to the women to vote all APC candidates for more dividends of democracy in the state.
Saturday Sun reports that the Wife of the Deputy Governor, Sheila Tosan Akabe,  Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Aisha Rufai Ibrahim and Wife of the  Chairman, Lafia Local Government Area, Zainab Aminu Maifata solicited support for continuity of the progressive programmes by the present administration.
Earlier, the campaign train pays homage on the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage where the monarch harps on peaceful campaign by all political parties.
