2023: God will shock the world with Nigeria’s elections – Anglican bishop

Anglican Bishop says pandemic blessing in disguise

From Stanley Uzoaru, Owerri

The Anglican Bishop of Ohaji/Egbema, Rt. Reverend Chidi Oparaojiaku, has prophesied that God will surprise pundits with the results of the 2023 general elections, which he added would be more peaceful contrary to expectations by some analysts.

Oparaojiaku who disclosed this in his new year message delivered at the weekend during a special church service marking the investiture into the Knighthood Order of St. Christopher held at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter Umuokanne Ohaji, also noted that the outcome would be beyond human imaginations.

According to him, the 2023 election would not be disastrous as widely believed by a lot of people in the country, he added that it would rather be a year God will do “new things.”

He said: “Next year starts with Sunday and would end with Sunday. So God has put a date for ushering in Sunday as the first day of the year and last day of the year.”

He, however, advised the electorate not to scuttle the process of the elections next year but vote candidates of their choice just as he admonished them against selling their votes.

For the newly made Knights and Dames, the Bishop charged them to perform exceptionally more than those who were made knights before now.

The cleric reminded them that knighthood is not a tittle but a call to service, adding that they are called to support God’s Ministry in all areas.

In his sermon drawn from the Book of Exodus and Deuteronomy, Ikechi Ebens Onyeahialam reminded Christians of the need to remain steadyfast in prayers adding that righteousness are the key to success and peace.

Rt. Reverend Chidi Okparaojiaku does come across here as a damned
Charlatan, who uses God’s Name in vain.
Nigeria was not created by Our Almighty God of Abraham,Isaac and
    Jacob.
Nigeria was created by the British Imperialists not to achieve a high
moral purpose; rather she was brought into being by the Bitish Imperialists
intent on exploiting the huge quantity of human and natural resources in
    their Colonial Amalgam.
It is indeed a sin for us Christians to thus continue to be cohabiting with
those barbaric, bellicose and murderous Nilotic cattle driver nomads of the
North, who 108 years after our Amalgamation of 1914,have consistently
and continuously been washing our lands, forests, mountains, rivers and
streams with the innocent blood of our Indigenous Qua(Kwa)/Bantu people.
    No!
That has been like our collectively heading for suicide.
But it is forebidden for us Christians to commit suicide.
Why should our fathers and grand fathers win Independence for us
from the UK, only for us to be thus recolonized by the Abokis today?
Why must our children and posterity be silly vassals like us their
    parents are to the Abokis?
By our thus heading to the poll come February next month, will simply
be like going to perpetuate the existing Fulani Islamic Hegemony in
    the polity.
But what we Nigerians need now is an urgent restructuring of the country
    not any fucking Presidential Election.
Alternatively, the ultima ration will be the late Major Gideon Orkar’s Option.
    Enough is enough ojare!
All Hail Biafra, our God’s Own Land of the Rising Sun!!
