From Okwe Obi, Abuja

The Kebbi State governorship candidate on the platform of the Labour Party (LP), Gambo Tase, has boasted that his party would snatch the state from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in the 2023 general poll.

Tase, at a press briefing yesterday in Abuja, also noted that the popularity of the party’s Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi has attracted wide acceptability across the state and beyond.

He accused the APC government of running the state aground despite huge financial allocation from the Federal Government and revenue generated.

“They have corrupted governance and for goodness. What we need today is a change from what the political parties have given us so far.

“The truth is Labour Party came in as a party that is in the middle. And having a presidential candidate that is a core professional financial, developmental guru, what he needs are not politicians, he need technocrats and professionals.

“Those are the people that will drive his government to achieve his aim of turning Nigeria into a productive country and not a consuming country.
