2023: Oye optimistic of APGA winning Abia

The national Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Oye has expressed optimism that the party will win the 2023 Governorship election in Abia State.

Oye expressed the optimism I’m Umuahia, Abia State while inaugurating the campaign council of APGA at the Greg Ibe campaign headquarters in Umuahia.

The APGA national Chairman assured that the days of bad leadership are over in the State as the party has come to take over the State.

On the Court’s nullification w Ibe’s candidature at the primaries , Oye said, “The Court ruling will not stand the scrutiny of the Appeal Court . The ruling will be thrown into dust bin by the Appeal Court . The primary elections that produced the candidate was credible, transparent free and fair.

“I assure you that Prof Greg Ibe will be the next Governor. I only urge Prof Ibe, all our candidates and party members to remain prepared and vigilant.”

He however cautioned the members of the campaign council and other party members against any form of sabotage against APGA.

Speaking, the Governorship candidate of APGA in Abia, Prof Ibe challenged his opponents in the guber race to prove the evidence of their investments in the State, as he Ibe has already done.

Ibe also made it clear that his mandate as guber candidate is a divine project which no man can scuttle, while dismissing the High Court ruling in Abuja which nullified his candidature, saying that the ruling is strange and will not stand .

Ibe further explained that the structures to win elections have been activated in all parts of Abia State in readiness for eventual victory in 2023.

Abia State Chairman of APGA, Augustine Ehiemere maintained that his party was ready to dismantle every platform of bad leadership in Abia and install good leadership .

Ehiemere who described his party as the most popular and credible among Abians, urged the Abia electorate to liberate themselves with their voters.

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman of the APGA campaign council, Longman Nwachukwu promised to lead the party to victory.

Nwachukwu emphasising that all candidates of the party would be marketed to Abia voters.
