Twenty-four ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from August 16 to August 27.
In its publication, ‘Shipping Position’ newsletter, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated that the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, frozen fish, crude palm olein, bulk corn, bulk gypsum, Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK), base oil, aviation fuel, petrol and containers laden with goods.
Already, 13 ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, bulk corn, soya beans, bulk maize, bulk palm olein and petrol while 18 other ships are discharging buck wheat, bulk corn, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk gas, truck, frozen fish, petrol, and containers.
